Delux parking in Europe's longest underground garage
The Cologne Chocolate Museum is located on the river Rhine - on a peninsula, between the Deutzer and Severin bridges, at the tip of the modern Rheinauhafen (port).
The event location is reached by crossing the historic swing bridge located beside the old Malakoff Tower, the seat of the former port supervisory authority.
Beginning of your event
- Bel Etage: starting 12 am
- Panorama restaurant: starting 7 pm
The beginning of your event at the panorama restaurant, Atrium and at the chocolate factory complies with the closing hours of the museum. Starting at 6 pm, it is possible to have a one hour lasting welcome event with drinks and fingerfood next to the chocolate fountain or at the Rhine terrace, depending on the weather.
Events at the Bel Etage are not affected by this, because the venue is not located within the exhibition area.
Europe’s longest underground garage “Rheinauhafen” is located directly under the Rheinauhafen and ends exactly beneath the Chocolate Museum.
There are three entrances from the Rheinuferstrasse. Please take note of the signs in the garage. The Chocolate Museum is signed. The best way is to drive straight to the “red sector” and park there. This is where you will have the shortest walk to the museum.
All event rooms (except the gallery) including the toilets are accessible barrier-free (wheelchairs).
